Our carefully planned 10 Days / 9 Nights Char Dham Yatra itinerary is designed to provide a comfortable, safe, and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage. Beginning from Haridwar, the journey covers the four sacred shrines—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath—while also taking you through some of Uttarakhand's most scenic and revered destinations, including Mussoorie, Rudraprayag, Chopta, Mana Village, Devprayag, and Rishikesh. 1. Har Ki Pauri: The most famous and sacred ghat in Haridwar, renowned for the mesmerizing evening Ganga Aarti and the holy River Ganga.
2. Mansa Devi Temple: Situated atop Bilwa Parvat, this revered temple is dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi and can be reached by a scenic cable car ride or a 1.5 km trek.
3. Chandi Devi Temple: A sacred temple dedicated to Goddess Chandi, located on Neel Parvat, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Haridwar and the surrounding hills.
4. Kempty Falls, Mussoorie: One of Uttarakhand's most popular waterfalls, surrounded by lush green hills and perfect for a refreshing stop during the journey.

Sightseeing at Yamunotri
1. Yamunotri Temple: Dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, this sacred shrine is the first destination of the Char Dham Yatra and the revered source of the holy Yamuna River.
2. Surya Kund: A natural hot water spring where pilgrims cook rice and potatoes as a sacred offering (Prasad) before presenting them at the temple.
3. Divya Shila: A sacred rock pillar located near the temple, where devotees offer prayers before entering the Yamunotri Temple.
After darshan, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive to Barkot.

Sightseeing at Gangotri
1. Gangotri Temple: One of the four sacred Char Dham shrines, dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is believed to be the place where the holy River Ganga descended to Earth.
2. Bhagirath Shila: A sacred rock where King Bhagirath is believed to have performed intense penance to bring the River Ganga from heaven to Earth for the salvation of his ancestors.
After darshan, return to Uttarkashi.

Proceed to Sonprayag/Sersi/Phata for an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. Begin your trek towards the holy Kedarnath Temple amidst the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.
Sightseeing En Route
1. Gaurikund: A sacred pilgrimage site dedicated to Goddess Parvati, known for its natural hot water spring and as the base point of the Kedarnath trek.
2. Sonprayag: Situated at an altitude of approximately 1,829 meters (6,001 ft), Sonprayag is an important stop on the Kedarnath Yatra and is believed to be the confluence of the Basuki and Mandakini Rivers.
Reach Kedarnath by evening.

Begin your day with the divine morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple. After seeking blessings, start your trek back to Gaurikund and proceed to Sonprayag.

1. Kedarnath Temple: One of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and among the holiest pilgrimage sites in India, nestled amidst the majestic Garhwal Himalayas.
2. Bhairavnath Temple: Located on a nearby hill, this temple is dedicated to Lord Bhairav, the guardian deity of Kedarnath, and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the valley.
3. Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi: The sacred memorial dedicated to Adi Shankaracharya, who revived Hindu pilgrimage traditions and attained samadhi near the Kedarnath Temple.

Sightseeing at Badrinath

2. Tapt Kund: A natural hot water spring located near the temple, where pilgrims traditionally take a holy dip before offering prayers.
3. Mana Village: The last inhabited village of India near the Indo-Tibetan border, famous for its mythological significance and rich Himalayan culture.
4. Bheem Pul: A massive natural stone bridge believed to have been placed by Bheema during the Mahabharata to help Draupadi cross the Saraswati River.
Return to Joshimath/Pipalkoti after darshan.

3. Karnaprayag: A revered confluence where the Alaknanda and Pindar Rivers meet, associated with the legendary warrior Karna from the Mahabharata.
4. Rishikesh: Known as the "Yoga Capital of the World," Rishikesh is famous for its spiritual ambiance, ancient temples, yoga centers, and the sacred River Ganga.
Drop at Haridwar, marking the end of your divine Char Dham Yatra.

- Adventure activities or sightseeing not mentioned in the itinerary (e.g., rafting, yoga classes).
- Any expenses arising due to natural calamities, road blockages, landslides, weather conditions, or government restrictions.
Terms & Conditions & Guidelines
Payment Policy
A 30% advance payment is required to confirm your booking.
The remaining 70% balance must be paid on the first day at the time of pickup.
Yatra Essentials
An E-Yatra Registration is mandatory for the Char Dham Yatra. Guests are requested to complete the registration before the journey. We also provide assistance with the registration process.
Travel Timings
For your safety and a smooth travel experience, all journeys will begin between 5:30 AM and 6:30 AM, depending on the day’s schedule.
As per Government regulations, vehicles are not permitted to operate in mountain regions after 7:30 PM due to the risk of landslides and adverse weather conditions.
Guests are requested to adhere to the departure timings to ensure timely arrival at each destination.
Unforeseen Situations
The itinerary may be affected due to natural calamities, landslides, traffic congestion, road closures, or government restrictions beyond our control.
Guests are requested to follow the planned sightseeing schedule. Additional time spent at sightseeing locations may result in delays in reaching the pre-booked hotel.
In unavoidable circumstances, if reaching the reserved hotel is not possible, guests may need to arrange alternative accommodation at their own expense.
Hindustan Expedition will make every possible effort to provide suitable assistance during such situations.
Health & Well-being
For a safe and comfortable pilgrimage, we recommend carrying the following essentials:
Personal prescription medicines.
Pain relief tablets.
Paracetamol.
Muscle pain relief spray (Move, Volini, etc.).
Basic first-aid kit.
Oxygen cans (especially for senior citizens or guests with heart or respiratory conditions).
Additional Assistance
We provide assistance in booking Helicopter Tickets (subject to availability). Kindly note that we do not sell helicopter tickets directly.
Assistance is also available for booking Pony, Horse, and Palki (Doli) services for the Kedarnath trek.
Rescheduling Policy
Guests may reschedule their tour without any additional charges if the request is made at least 5 days before the scheduled departure date.
Cancellation Policy
100% refund if the booking is cancelled within 5 days of making the reservation.
After this period, refunds will not be applicable.
If the cancellation request is received at least 15 days before the departure date, the paid amount will be issued as a Credit Note, which can be utilized for any future tour within 2 years.
